Our Approach
Hope Discovery ABA Services is dedicated to supporting the social, intellectual, behavioral, and verbal growth for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Asperger’s Syndrome, and Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD-NOS). Our approach integrates comprehensive assessments, tailored treatment plans, and parent training with the evidence-based methods of Applied Behavior Analysis in full or part-time one-on-one settings.

What is Applied Behavior Analysis?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based science with a proven track record and is recognized as the single most effective treatment for children with ASD. Typically-developing children learn social skills, language, and play naturally from the world around them. Children with autism on the other hand require intentional, individually based intervention that is tailored to his/her specific needs. Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) are highly trained to identify and address behavioral, social, and language based needs.

Available Services
Therapy
We offer intensive, one-on-one therapy for individuals with autism and/or other behavioral difficulties. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst conducts the assessments, develops the treatment plan, and begins the therapy with all clients. Then, a behavior therapist continues the one-on-one therapy with the clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Data is continually recorded to monitor progress towards goals and ensure the treatment plan meets the individual needs of each client. All therapy is individualized for each client and family. We teach parents, caregivers, and teachers how to implement the same strategies to best support the needs of each client and promote generalization.

Our staff will conduct the assessments in the client's natural setting where the problem behaviors typically occur. We will then develop behavior intervention plans to address specific problem behaviors and teach desired behaviors using research-based methods.
